Nicolls is a well established business with over 45 years experience specialising in soft furnishings, such as blinds, curtains, bedding and more. Having first tried setting up a website himself, the owner found that the results were not good and then turned to AOS. Nicolls suppliers provided professional photography for a lot of the products which was great.
The owner was very engaged in the e-commerce project and is looking forward to learning more as time goes on.

When people shop for soft home furnishings colour is an important factor. We planned the website so shoppers could browse by colour, as well as price-range and the other usual filters. Products were assembled and displayed as collections and these could be featured on the homepage. As is the case in any e-commerce website we produce, we take the basic functionality and our engineers add something more to it to suit the needs of this particular client. In this case those custom code enhancements included the colour filtering but there will also be a future phase to this website where we integrate a third party piece of software from one of Nicholls vendors.
Nicholls had their first sale within a few hours of the website going live!
Annette did a one hour training with Eoin Fisher on how best to market his business going forward and we have continuously offered support and recommendations since the site went live.
