Tigan Homeware was set up by Limerick-based entrepreneur Ahmed Altigani when he saw a need in the market for light-weight mattresses for occasional use. Ahmed was selling at local markets when he approached AOS to help him get the business online. He wanted an attractive website that allowed his customers to buy online and asked us to produce a logo to go with the branding. As part of the process Annette completed a one hour Digital Marketing Training to Ahmed which the client enjoyed and was able to implement her training going forward.

The business had been formed as West & East Trading but we thought a brand name was needed to promote the product so we settled on Tigan and then set about designing a logo. A feather was used as a graphical element as that works well with soft household furnishings. This online store was unusual in that it launched with just one product so the design was all about promoting the benefits of that single product. No filtering was to be used. We spent some time on the graphics to portray the product in a way that fitted in with the overall look and feel of the website. Naturally all of the usual e-commerce functions are available on the site.
